French cosmeceutical brand Filorga is growing its Medi-Cosmetique skin care line with a new launch which promises to fight the signs of fatigue on the skin. Filorga, which has specialised in developing aesthetic formulas such as filler injections and glycolic acid peels for professional use since the 1970s, started its Medi-Cosmetique line around six years ago inspired by the latest trends in aesthetic surgery. The line-up includes 18 anti-ageing products, with the latest being Sleep Recover, which will be launched in March.
Described as an "anti-fatigue crème," Sleep Recover is said to contain prodizia, an active derived from the silk tree, which is believed to reduce glycotoxins in the skin as well as stimulate melatonin secretion to help restore the skin cells and fight the physical signs of tiredness. Sleep Recover is also claimed to help relieve congestion under the eyes through the inclusion of horse chestnut extract, while also helping to correct stress wrinkles and plump up the appearance of the skin.
Sleep Recover launches into Marks & Spencer Beauty stores from March, priced at £54.
