Beauty e-tailer Feelunique has launched a new sustainable shopping webpage.
The Sustainable Switches platform offers more than 200 skus from 50 brands with eco-friendly credentials and recyclable packaging.
Products already available include Dr. Hauschka, Burt’s Bees, Aurelia, Aeos and Evolve Beauty.
Jennifer Roebuck Feelunique’s Chief Marketing Officer said: “Sustainability is an important part of our corporate and consumer strategy at Feelunique.
She added: “Merchandising our site in ways to help customers make more [sustainably] friendly choices is our first step towards motivating consumers to make the switch.”
Blazing the trail
Earlier this year, beauty consumers were named the most ethical shoppers by market research company Mintel.
According to the survey, nearly half of British consumers said they would consider a brand’s ethical outlook before purchasing its products.
It said the industry’s focus on animal welfare and plastic waste reduction were key to the results.
