It is the only program of its kind in the U.S., with product innovation and creative management courses held in the only working fragrance laboratory on a U.S. college campus, and a prestigious industry advisory board of senior executives, consultants, media experts, leading research and industry analysts, and heads of industry associations.
The high-powered, multidisciplinary program is designed for exceptional industry professionals with strong senior management potential. It balances focus between traditional business skills—corporate finance, consumer behavior and insights, sustainability management, and global supply chain management—and more specialized skills vital to the beauty industry, such as luxury brand development and product innovation. Thought leaders inside and outside the industry help students sharpen marketing and management skills, explore global markets, innovate product offerings, and develop next-generation leadership for the beauty industry.
The two-year program is geared to the professional, with evening classes, a strong emphasis on case studies and collaborative projects, and mentorship from senior industry professionals, who serve as guest lecturers and instructors. Students gain a global perspective through required field studies in beauty capitals of the world, such as London, Paris, Madrid, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Delhi, Dubai, Mexico City, and São Paulo.
The program also functions as an internationally renowned think tank, challenging existing business models and developing new strategies for advancing the consumer sector. For the capstone project, student teams develop an innovative, in-depth, interdisciplinary approach to a strategic topic assigned by the faculty, and then present research findings to an audience of 700 faculty and industry experts. This year’s 25th-anniversary capstone program examines the longevity of beauty, looking at the topic from consumer, science, and business viewpoints.
This program is a proven pathway into top-level management. Out of more than 500 alumni, a significant percentage have been promoted to senior executive positions in major cosmetics and fragrance companies, as well as in technology, fashion, and retail.
There is still time to apply for the incoming fall 2026 class. Applications are reviewed on a rolling admissions basis as they are completed.
