The US is the third largest facial skin care market globally, valued at $10.30bn in 2014, according to Euromonitor International, and although it recorded rather flat results – up just 1% overall – there have been some spikes of growth among certain sub-categories.
Facial masks recorded the most impressive rise, with value growth of 33%, driven by both mass and premium masks as consumer demand surged.
