The Inorganic Materials Business Unit of Evonik Industries will raise the sales prices for its silica products


The Inorganic Materials Business Unit of Evonik Industries will raise the sales prices for its silica products, metal oxides and matting agents as of 1 June 2014. The fumed silica and metal oxides are sold under the brand names AEROSIL and AEROXIDE. The precipitated silica are well known under the brand names ULTRASIL, SIPERNAT, SIDENT and ACEMATT. The prices will be increased by up to 8% or as contracts allow. This measure is needed to secure sustainable supply.
