Estèe Lauder triumphs at HBA Awards

Estée Lauder Companies is celebrating today after scooping top honours at last night's HBA Industry Awards held in New York. The company's Donna Karan brand was awarded the International Package Design Award's (IPDA) Package of the Year Award for Gold Eau de Parfum, as well as being awarded the top prize for best packaging in the Fragrance Limited category.

The night was also a chance to recognise the achievements of a number of industry professionals.

Jill Scalamandre, chief marketing officer, Chrysallis, whose portfolio includes hair care brand Frédéric Fekkai, was the recipient of The Lifetime Achievement Award in Marketing, while The Packaging Executive of the Year Award was presented to Chanel's vp materials, management/manufacturing, Scott Widro. Coty's senior vp, global R&D and chief scientific officer, Ralph Macchio was awarded The Lifetime Achievement Award for Product Development.
