Estée Lauder Companies executives have announced plans to increase the production of skin care and fragrances at its Long Island, New York, factory by about 50% over the next few years.
According to Newsday the factory, located in Melville, currently manufactures the most skin care products and the second largest volume of fragrances of Estée Lauder Companies’ global network of facilities.
Products created at the plant include those sold under the Estée Lauder, Clinique, GlamGlow, Tom Ford Beauty and Crème De La Mer brands, among others.
“My commitment to Long Island is to the people who work here. It’s as simple as that,” Leonard Lauder is reported to have said.
