Christian Dior's new summer colour collection takes its inspiration from the Pop Art movement and blends vibrant pinks, corals and fuchsias with violet, turquoise and blue hues.
The range features a limited edition Cristal Shine compact comprising a hydrating tinted balm and a shimmering lip gloss. The compact is inspired by Dior’s Christal watch, and features translucent studs and crystal-like stones that are reminiscent of the sapphire crystals that adorn the watch.
In addition, the collection features Dior Addict Lip Glow, a hydrating balm containing colour reviver technology that is said to react to the moisture level in lips and create a custom shade to enhance the natural colour of the lips. The formula contains wild mango and SPF10.
Other products in the range include three new shades of Dior Addict High Shine in Designer Coral, Artist Pink and Sketch Pink; three new shades of DiorKiss Luscious Lip-plumping Gloss in Grenadine Syrup, Blackcurrant Cream and Strawberry Smoothie; two limited edition nail colours in Bubble Gum and Purple Candy; a limited edition eyeliner pencil in metallic silver; limited edition Diorskin Shimmer Powder in Pop Diamond, and two shades of 5-Colour Iridescent Eyeshadow in Electric Lights and Graphic Lights.
Dior has also relaunched its Dior Addict Lipcolor line, which now contains a Lip Neutraliser colour complex, said to neutralise the lip’s original colour so that the exact shade of the lip colour comes through. In addition, light waxes and oils with a low viscosity provide a barely there light texture combined with vibrant colour. The new line includes 20 shades, which range from nude Beige Négligée and Coral Lace to vibrant Spotlight Violet and Pink Lust.
Lastly the brand has relaunched its classic Svelte body contouring concentrate, which is now claimed to create an even more toned silhouette. Dior Svelte Reversal is said to stimulate lipolysis thanks to the inclusion of Viniferene, as well as reduce lipogenesis, limiting the amount of fat stored in new adipocytes. According to Dior this helps reduce their volume. In addition, the formula contains Petamide 6 which helps encourage cells to transform into firming cells rather than fat cells. The result, says Dior, is smoother, slimmer thighs.
