Over this period, the company has managed more than 580 projects, 57 of which are currently ongoing, and has tested over 900 products for more than 120 national and international clients. Thanks to its intense pace of work, Dermaclaim has established itself as a reference in efficacy and functionality testing of active ingredients, cosmetic products, and oral supplements, covering both in vitro bioassays and clinical trials in human volunteers.
David González, CEO of the company, recalls the early days: "When we started in October 2021, we didn’t have a concrete business plan in mind. We simply wanted to do the maximum we could in the best manner we could, and let the market guide us. Now, three years later, it’s clear that our efforts are paying off. Clients from around the globe are placing their trust in us to validate the efficacy and functionality of their products, which shows we are providing them with valuable support. We will continue to uphold this philosophy of effort, rigor, and quality to keep growing alongside our clients. Although the coming year will be challenging due to the time and resources dedicated to building our new facilities, we will manage this situation in the best possible way to ensure it doesn’t affect the progress of our current projects."
In its commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, transparency, and reliability in its results, Dermaclaim has being accredite with ISO 27001:2022 certification, which ensures a comprehensive approach to information security, encompassing people, technology, and policies. This accreditation adds to the ISO 9001:2015 certification, obtained in 2022 and audited annually, as well as the Crédit d'Impôt Recherche (CIR), achieved at the end of 2023.
Dermaclaim’s success is also reflected in its financial growth, with a projected 35% increase in its annual revenue by the end of 2024. This growth has enabled the company to welcome two new employees, a research assistant with experience in digital marketing and photography for the clinical department, and a research technician specializing in cell culture and molecular biology techniques for the laboratory department. Despite space constraints in both departments, the company will end the year with 11 employees, meeting the targets set at the beginning of the year.
Looking to continue enlarging its national and international presence, Dermaclaim will be showcasing its testing services at Cosmetorium in Barcelona on October 23-24 (stand 424, Floor -1) and at Incosmetics Asia in Bangkok from November 5-7 (stand A60, Spanish Pavilion).
