Kitsch favourite Benefit has launched three fragrances inspired by Crescent Row, a famous street in the English spa town of Bath.
The first fragrance, Laugh With Me Lele is described as a flirtatious, innocent scent with top notes of cassis, melon and citrus, a heart of black violet, lily and jasmine and a blonde wood, amber and santal base.
Something About Sofia, an oriental floral, features mango and freesia top notes and a heart comprising sheer lily, jasmine sambac and peony petal supported by musk, white caramel and vanilla bean.
Finally, My Place Or Yours Gina is playfully described as ‘sinfully sexy’. It includes top notes of pink pepper, bergamot and tangerine, middle notes of peony, wild raspberry and white lily and base notes of patchouli, tonka bean and vanilla bean. Each fragrance comes in a 30ml cocktail shaker-style bottle and is boxed in outer packaging designed to resemble the exterior and interior of a house on Crescent Row. Benefit co-founder Jean Ford’s daughters, Maggie and Annie Ford Denielson, decided upon the concept after visiting the famous street on a trip to Bath.
