Sederma has introduced a new active containing a lipodipeptide that stimulates elastin synthesis.

An in vivo test showed that the quantity of elastin and tropoelastin settled in the extracellular matrix increased by over 94% with the use of Idealift. In addition, 26 volunteers found the twice-daily application of a cream containing 4% Idealift to be effective after just one month, with 80% displaying firmer skin.
