Valentino Beauty has tapped menswear ambassador Colman Domingo to become its first-ever global ambassador for fragrance.
The luxury beauty and fragrance brand, licensed by French beauty giant L’Oréal, named the American actor and director as its new ambassador, building on an existing relationship between the talent and the brand.
Domingo, a regular on the front row of Valentino’s fashion shows, also serves as menswear ambassador for the Italian fashion house, currently spearheaded by Creative Director Alessandro Michele.
Announcing the partnership in an Instagram post, Valentino Beauty wrote: “Valentino Beauty is pleased to announce @kingofbingo [Colman Domingo] as new Global Brand Ambassador for fragrances, to celebrate beauty as a force for inclusivity, authenticity, and self-expression.”
It is not the first time Domingo has worked with Valentino Beauty, as last month the two-time Oscar nominee hosted a takeover of the brand’s Instagram stories during a Studio 54-inspired event.
Domingo shared in a statement: "I am honoured to partner with Valentino Beauty, a brand that truly celebrates this connection between identity and scent.
"The brand understands that beauty is about breaking moulds and celebrating what is unique. I believe in inspiring authenticity, and I see that same spirit in every fragrance."
