Colipa elects new president

Fabio Franchina has been elected as the new president of Colipa, the European cosmetics association.

Fabio Franchina has been elected as the new president of Colipa, the European cosmetics association. Franchina is ceo of Italian cosmetics multinational Framesi and president of Italian cosmetics association Unipro. He will serve as Colipa president for a two-year term.

”It is an honour to represent the cosmetics industry in Europe at such a crucial time,” says Franchina. Despite the current economic climate, our industry continues to work hard to provide consumers with the innovative products that they want.”

Gerd Ries of J&J continues as vice president for a second term, joined by Marival Diez of Stanpa as the other vice president. Loïc Armand was approved as vice president treasurer.
