Clondalkin UK Labels upgrades finishing capacity
Invests in three AB Graphics finishing lines to support growth
The Specialist Packaging Division of Clondalkin Group has invested £300,000 in finishing equipment at its UK Labels business to support its expansion in the pharmaceuticals and cosmetics markets.
Clondalkin Group is installing three AB Graphics finishing lines at self-adhesive labels specialists Harlands Labels in Hull and Ditone Labels in Kimbolton.
Harlands is installing an Omega HSR 330 and a T150. The Omega will provide additional rewind capacity and includes a full inspection capability for pharmaceuticals and cosmetics products, while the T150 will increase onlay capacity and provide inlay capability to allow growth in the RFID arena.
Another Omega HSR 330 finishing line with full inspection capability is being installed at Ditone to support the company’s development in the UK and European pharmaceutical markets.
Clondalkin Group Specialist Packaging Division specialises in cartons, labels, leaflets and inserts, and has approximately 20 manufacturing sites in the UK, the Netherlands, Spain, Poland, the US and Puerto Rico and Ireland. These include well-known brands such as Boxes, Harlands, Ditone, Pharmagraphics Guy, Kenilworth Products, Cartonplex and Keller Crescent.
