Taking its lead from the popularity of budget fashion chains on the UK high street comes Active Cosmetics, a new brand of make-up items that retail at under £5.

The line consists of face, eye, lip, cheek and nail products that are said to contain the same traits as the more expensive beauty products on offer, but without the high price tag. The line-up includes Advanced Nail Enamel, available in 12 shades, Luscious Lip Gloss, which comes in three colourways, Magnifying Lash Mascara, available in black and Touché Perfection, a concealer and highlighter pen, available in two shades.

In addition to the high quality of the products, the company says the packaging provides a quality feel and look to the range.
