Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) has named the six finalists of its Supplier’s Award: Ingredients & Formulation.
Part of the organisation’s Beauty Awards, this category, which is sponsored by the New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NYSCC), recognises the role that ingredients, formulation and new technology plays in the beauty industry.
The finalists are:
Ashland for its Mineral-Based Sun Stick SPF 50, a high SPF formula that glides on smoothly;
BASF for its scalp and hair protecting ingredient Rambuvital;
Cargill Beauty for its upcycled texturiser FiberDesign Sensation;
Croda for its silica-coated, alumina-free Solaveil XTP-2;
Elementis Specialty for Bentone Luxe Natural Formulation Enabler, which creates sensorial formulas;
And Grant Industries for Gransense TC-8X, a series of next generation elastomer gels.
The finalists were selected from more than 40 submissions and the winner will be announced during the Suppliers’ Day ‘At Home Live’ Week of Beauty on 30 September. The winner will also be acknowledged at the CEW Beauty Awards, presented on 13 November.
The NYSCC Suppliers’ Day ‘At Home Live’ Week of Beauty takes place from 28 September until 2 October and will be a virtual week of beauty and personal care industry education and engagement.
