Budelpack puts COSi into administration

Dutch contract manufacturer Budelpack has announced it has called in administrators for its UK subsidiary Budelpack COSi in the light of “extremely challenging” economic conditions.


Dutch contract manufacturer Budelpack has announced it has called in administrators for its UK subsidiary Budelpack COSi in the light of “extremely challenging” economic conditions.

The announcement comes less than a year after Budelpack acquired COSi’s manufacturing facility in South Wales and product development centre in West Sussex.

Budelpack COSi has reported an annual turnover of £45m and currently employs 417 people at its two sites, although itrrecently announced it was to cut 200 jobs due to a slowdown in business. It is hoped a buyer will be found in the coming weeks to save existing jobs.
