Brazil’s recession is said to be its worst in over two decades, and in 2015 the country’s economy shrank by 3.8% according to government data published in March this year. Combined with the austerity measures imposed by the government, it is little wonder that Brazil’s C&T market has been affected. The country’s body care sector experienced a particularly rough ride in 2015 compared to 2014 and 2013, when it was characterised by double digit growth.
