Annick Goutal has relaunched its popular Eau de Monsieur men’s fragrance, updating it for today’s male consumer. The original scent was created by Annick Goutal in the 1980s but has been reworked by her daughter Camille and perfumer Isabelle Doyen with improved and updated fragrance notes.
The edt opens with a burst of freshness created by mandarin, bergamot and mint, balanced with juniper before moving to the heart of artemesia and geranium. Finally, at the base sandalwood and patchouli add a warm earthy depth to the scent.
The juice is housed in Goutal’s reworked bottle, featuring a new gold and grey label, while the outer packaging is grey to reflect the fragrance’s masculine audience.
