American comedian and actress Amy Schumer has joined forces with Beautycounter to advocate for clean beauty.
In a series of lighthearted campaign videos with her friend and Beautycounter consultant, Shea, the duo discuss all things beauty, the reality of ingredients standards and pregnancy.
The I Feel Pretty star took to Instagram to make the announcement.
It read: “I heard about @beautycounter through my good friend Shea. Beautycounter is an empowering beauty and skincare brand led by women. I love Beautycounter’s mission to get safer products into the hands of everyone. Link in bio for full video #betterbeauty #ad”.
Since its launch in 2013, the brand has worked with various legal teams to ensure consumer safety is a brand priority.
In 2017 it founded the Counteract Coalition made up of like-minded businesses in the beauty sector to campaign for more protective laws in Washington DC.
Meanwhile, it has lent its business voice to support consultants across the US looking to reform its legislation.
Today, the brand stocks skin care and colour cosmetics products for face, body, hair, babies and men.
