Perfume house Amouage is celebrating its 25th anniversary with the creation of two new fragrances, Jubilation 25 for women and Jubilation XXV for men.
Famed for its classic creation Gold, launched 25 years ago, Amouage is hoping that its new scents will prove to be timeless creations too.The new scents take their inspiration from a classic era in perfumery, the 1930s and 1940s. Jubilation 25 opens with rose, ylang ylang, lemon and tarragon, moving to a heart of rock rose and frankincense. Amber, vetiver, patchouli and myrrh provide a warming base. Rock rose and frankincense are also used in Jubilation XXV for men, alongside coriander, blackberry, orange and davana at the top, while the floral theme continues in the heart, with notes of orchid and rose, plus cinammon, honey and clove. Depth is provided by opoponax, myrrh, ambergris and patchouli at the base, and completed by woody notes of cedar, moss and oud. The men’s bottle is inspired by the khanjar and the women’s by classical Arabian architecture. Both edps are available in 50ml and 100ml.
