Hundreds of thousands of retail workers struggled on through enforced lockdowns, caused by the global pandemic, making a name for themselves as the ‘forgotten key workers’.
Meanwhile, those that did not continue to work were thrown into disarray and fear for their jobs as many retailers shut up shop, in some cases,
