Kason Corporation goes circular
A new Circular Vibratory Fluid Bed Dryer-Screener System, now offered by Kason Corporation Europe, promises to remove agglomerates and dust, reduce moisture content of bulk materials and discharge on-size material into bulk bags.
A new Circular Vibratory Fluid Bed Dryer-Screener System, now offered by Kason Corporation Europe, promises to remove agglomerates and dust, reduce moisture content of bulk materials and discharge on-size material into bulk bags.
The system contains a 1220mm diameter circular fluid bed processor, heater, blower and 1220mm diameter vibratory screener. The technology is reported to be half the size and weight of a rectangular fluid bed of equal capacity.
The circular processor eliminates the need for heavy-gauge walls and cross braces and allows vibratory motors to be downsized. The unit also reduces size and construction cost by utilising only one air inlet and outlet, and cleaning time is said to be cut by more than 50%.
