YSL Beauty has hired May December actor Charles Melton as the latest face of its MYSLF fragrance.
The Riverdale star joins US ambassadors Finn Wolfhard, Lil Yachty, Hunter Doohan and Noah Beck, as well as global ambassador Austin Butler, in promoting the male-marketed scent.
The line-up is said to represent the “contemporary vision of masculinity”, according to YSL Beauty.
The 33-year-old’s debut campaign for the brand features Melton “championing his individuality” in a series of images shot by US photographer Zoey Grossman.
The campaign will feature across Melton’s and YSL’s social media to promote the refillable edp, which features a woody floral fragrance.
"Lending my voice for MYSLF is a natural extension of who I am as an individual and as a creative,” said Melton.
“YSL Beauty has created a fragrance that is bold, but subtle - embracing the competing confidence and vulnerability that I find innate as an actor.
“Together, I hope that we can inspire you to embrace your own edge and all parts of yourself."
YSL Beauty described Melton as “a true creative who expresses himself unapologetically, a value core to our beautiful brand”.
“With this next chapter, we hope to continue inspiring others to never stop the pursuit of self-exploration,” said the brand’s US General Manager, Emilie Poisson.
“Together with our voices, we will continue our journey to redefine masculinity, embracing change and vulnerability with pride."
