Reckitt has confirmed that its CEO Designate, Kris Licht, will take over the CEO role from 1 October.

He succeeds Nicandro Durante at the helm of the UK-based consumer goods company, which counts depilatory brand Veet and skin care player Clearasil in its brand portfolio.

Licht was made CEO Designate on 26 April.

Exiting CEO Durante will stay with Reckitt until 31 December to ensure a smooth transition, after which he will step down from the company’s board.

Reckitt has seen a high turnover rate in its top job in recent years.

Durante – formerly a Senior Independent Director at Reckitt – took over as CEO less than a year ago on 30 September 2022.

He replaced Laxman Narasimhan, who was appointed to the position in November 2019.

Narasimhan stepped down last year to relocate to the US for personal reasons.

The Slough, UK headquartered company last month also announced that its CFO and Executive Director, Jeff Carr, will be retiring at the end of March 2024, with Shannon Eisenhardt joining Reckitt on 17 October as CFO Designate.

Eisenhardt, who currently works for athletic footwear and apparel company Nike, will also be appointed to the board as an Executive Director upon joining.
