Supermodel and television personality Tyra Banks recently announced to her followers on Facebook that she has decided to spend more time focusing on her direct selling beauty business Tyra Beauty.
The 41-year-old recently posted on the social media site: “ I've made an executive decision to keep following my heart and spend more time focusing on my army of entrepreneurs, my Beautytainers, so we can bring the power of transformation to people everywhere.
“You all inspire me. Sharing how hard you're working to make your life better. Showing your friends that beauty is right at their finger tips. Rackin’ up those Bank$igns and achieving your BFOGs - those Big Fierce Outrageous Goals, baby! What you put into your biz is what you will get out of it, and I’m doubling down and working even harder for YOU.”
The post came after Banks revealed that she would be leaving ABC’s talk show FABLife after three months as a host, alongside co-hosts Chrissy Teigen, Leah Ashley, Joe Zee and Lauren Maak.
Speaking to the Los Angeles Times, Banks said: “This is a very difficult decision, but necessary. I will be devoting more time to my new, growing cosmetics company, Tyra Beauty, which is expanding faster than anticipated, as well as overseeing my company's other entertainment ventures.”
Tyra Beauty currently comprises a range of cosmetics products for face, eyes and lips. Tyra Beauty presents direct selling opportunities for independent representatives, dubbed Beautytainers. Representatives are encouraged to throw Tyra Beauty ‘parties’ at home or online in order to sell products resulting in a commission.
