Tubing mascaras use buildable fibres and film forming polymers to add volume and length around the existing lashes – effectively creating a tube-like layer that makes lashes appear longer and thicker.

With the wrong materials and inputs you risk making a clumpy mess, but with the right combinations, you can give consumers lash extension-like effects.
