Thomas Jonas named president of MWV Personal & Beauty Care division

Packaging specialist MWV has announced the appointment of Thomas Jonas as president of its Personal & Beauty Care business, effective 1 December. In his new position, Jonas will focus on driving strategic growth through product development and commercialisation, as well as expansion in new and existing markets.


Packaging specialist MWV has announced the appointment of Thomas Jonas as president of its Personal & Beauty Care business, effective 1 December. In his new position, Jonas will focus on driving strategic growth through product development and commercialisation, as well as expansion in new and existing markets.

Previously Jonas served as general manager of Alcan Beauty Solutions and was a member of the executive board of directors for Alcan Fragrance & Cosmetics. He has also held senior level positions at AT Kearney and Olivier Hong Kong.

“Thomas’ wealth of global experience and proven track record in strategic growth efforts will enhance the company’s focus on capturing market share and leveraging MWV’s global capabilities to accelerate the commercialisation of differentiated solutions and services,” commented Mark Cross, senior vp, MWV Packaging.
