Shiseido has developed a new whitening range designed to brighten, smooth and moisturise skin. White Lucency is claimed to reduce the appearance of dark spots and freckles, while smoothing the skin, helping to even out skin tone and refine skin texture.
The formula contains Multi-Target Vitamin C to brighten skin, reduce melanin in the horny layer and inhibit the conversion of melanin precursors into melanin outside melanin producing cells. In addition, Spot Deacti-Complex, containing Paeonia suffruticosa extract, Rehmannia extract, Lempuyang extract, Tamarix chinensis extract and Saxifrage extract, helps to reduce spot activating factors and soothes pigmented areas, while vitamin E derivative, Royal Jelly extract and Hypericum erectum extract help regenerate skin texture, enabling the brightening effects of the other ingredients to be more visible.
The formula also features a calming fragrance of natural green notes blended with tea rose. Products include Concentrated Brightening Serum, Protective Day Cream SPF15, Recovery Night Cream and Refining Softener.
