The MTV Video Music Awards 2024 saw pop billionaire Taylor Swift become the most-awarded artist in the ceremony’s history.

The ‘Shake it Off’ singer’s seven prizes, including artist and video of the year, took her total of MTV trophies to 30, overtaking Beyoncé.

Katy Perry and Chappell Roan also scooped ‘moonmen’ trophies at the event, which took place yesterday at New York City's UBS Arena.
