The beauty industry still has a serious issue in terms of sustainability in 2022.

Beauty businesses across the globe have been estimated to generate about 421,000 pounds of waste daily, according to research from salon scheduling platform Zolmi.

But a spotlight has often been cast on the professional salon industry when it comes to its environmental impact. Through the course of a single business day, salons can produce an immense amount of beauty waste.
