STO Flaconnage has launched a series of standard bottles for the personal care market from its Knottingley factory in West Yorkshire.

The first bottle in the new range is the Carlton, a classic rectangular shape with straight shoulders, available in 100ml and 30ml with 50ml on request. “It offers designers a generous face for decoration and complete flexibility of approach,” says Mark Devonald Smith, director of UK perfumery & personal care. “The heavyweight glass is in line with traditional flaconnage and reflects prestige. It is a versatile bottle that will accept a wide range of closures and meets the needs of the marketplace. All the new ranges will follow these principles.

“The personal care market increasingly wants to deal with primary sources rather than through a merchant or agent. Working directly with the glassmaker gives clients control over the production process. STO’s long glassmaking expertise enables it to meet customer expectation in what is a highly specialised market. STO is all about turning a concept into a reality.”
