The retail prices of imported cosmetics, fashion, accessories and luxury goods will soon be cheaper in Korea if a new government plan succeeds.

The government plans to allow small, independent importers working in the grey market of parallel imports to expand their activities, in order to bring down the prices of products on which a few large importers have monopolies and charge high mark-ups.
