Colour cosmetics brand Sothys has taken the decision to revamp a selection of its products’ packaging.
In partnership with luxury French packaging firm Texen Beauty Partners, the brand has modernised its make-up ranges to feature magnetic closures, as well as a weighted base.
The lipsticks are available in 20 shades, housed in anodised aluminium packs, with Texens patented mechanism, free from glue or lubricant a 12.7mm cup made from black shiny Poly cyclohexylenedimethylene, more commonly known as PCTG.
PCTG is a variation of glycol modified copolyester, similar to PETG, which is said to have a high chemical resistance, a larger range of printing temperatures and increased durability.
As well as its new lipstick ranges, the Paris-based brand has launched three new compacts and two brow products in its newly designed packaging.
The products are housed in black squares in matte and shiny contrasts with an internal glass mirror and magnetic closure.
Both ranges are made from mass dyed ABS with a matte lacquer with the Sothys medallion printed on the shiny black motif.
Texen Beauty has worked with a range of brands to create their colour cosmetics packaging including Givenchy, Dior and Rimmel.
