The new skin care brand is launched by UK based health and wellbeing expert John Tsagaris

SkinPointEight is a new skin care brand from UK based health and wellbeing expert John Tsagaris. Originally of Greek heritage, Germany-born Tsagaris is a trained practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and spent a number of years living in Beijing where he earned a Masters degree in Geriatrics and Dermatology. He later returned to London to launch a career in traditional Chinese shiatsu treatments and three years ago, opened a clinic in London dedicated to holistic beauty treatments such as his popular “beauty acupuncture”, which is claimed to help improve the processes through which the skin regulates itself.

Tsagaris’ new SkinPointEight skin care line is said to harness his expertise in TCM as well as his interest in a family of botanicals named adaptogens. The natural substances, which are widely used in TCM, include ginseng, goji berries and licorice and are believed to help normalise and maximise the functions of the body and skin. The ingredients are used across the entire product line, which will initially include two Age-Adapt Concentrates. The Day Concentrate is claimed to hydrate, brighten and invigorate microcirculation to encourage plumped up, radiant skin, while the Night Concentrate is said to help promote, repair and normalise cell turnover in the skin.

The serums will be priced at £120 each, available via the John Tsagaris clinic in London and the brand’s website by September, with retail distribution to follow soon after. The product duo will eventually be joined by another six facial skin care products, bringing the total number of SkinPointEight products to eight.
