Skin care clinic and beauty brand Skincity has hired former Happy Socks CEO Stefan Fragner to lead the business.
Fragner will take up the position of CEO, replacing Skincity’s co-founder Mikael Kjellman, who will move into a new ‘strategic role’ within the brand.
“We are pleased to announce Stefan Fragner as the new CEO for the company as we now enter the next phase of growth,” said Kjellman.
“We now have a solid foundation where we have established Skincity in four markets and see great opportunities to grow on all of these, especially our own brands portfolio, with Skincity as a concept.
“I will continue to be active in the company and support Stefan in this work.”
Skincity has operations across Sweden, Norway, Finland and the UK.
Commenting on the appointment, Skincity’s Chairman of the Board, Jacob Wall, added: “Stefan has successfully shown that he has a deep understanding of sustainable development and growth, not least during his time as CEO of Happy Socks, where he has grown the company’s sales at an impressive rate with good profitability.
“We are very much looking forward to adding Stefan’s experience of developing fast-growing companies in a digital and international context to the team.”
Fragner will take up the role on 20 January.
