South Korean beauty and aesthetics company SID MEDICOS has strengthened its commercial relationships in Latin America following its participation in AMWC Latin America 2026, held in Medellín, Colombia, from 29–31 October.
The company said more than 1,000 medical aesthetics professionals, practitioners and distribution representatives visited its stand during the three-day congress, where it showcased products from its flagship LemonBottle brand.
The portfolio currently focuses on professional body contouring and skincare products. However, SID MEDICOS also outlined plans to expand into post-treatment care and daily-use products, extending the brand beyond professional treatments into consumers' everyday routines.
Discussions with representatives from Colombia and other Latin American markets covered local demand, distribution channels, professional education and marketing support, as well as opportunities for longer-term partnerships.
AMWC Latin America marked SID MEDICOS' third industry event in the region this year. The company previously participated in FACE & BODY 2026 in Guadalajara, Mexico, in April, and Dermacosmética 2026 in Mexico City in October.
Following the latest event, SID MEDICOS plans to assess market conditions and potential partners in individual countries, taking into account local distribution structures and regulatory requirements.
“Following our activities in Mexico, our participation in Colombia gave us another opportunity to hear directly from industry professionals across Latin America and better understand the needs of individual markets,” a company representative said.
The company added that it would maintain discussions with prospective local partners to develop approaches suited to individual markets.
SID MEDICOS develops products for the global beauty and aesthetics sector under its vision, ‘Technology for Healthy Beauty’. Its flagship LemonBottle brand is distributed in more than 86 countries. The company received the US$20m Export Tower Award in South Korea in 2024, recognising its export performance.
