Shisheido spurns hell razors

Shiseido has added to its men’s range with Shiseido Men Shaving Cream. The cream is claimed to alleviate the irritation that can be caused by shaving and to help to actively care for the skin.

The shaving cream contains the company’s Damage Defence Complex, said to prevent excessive keratinisation caused by shaving and to promote the maturation of the cornified envelope, a membrane that surrounds the horny cells. The

company claims that the cream also helps to guide the razor smoothly across the skin and leaves skin feeling hydrated and smooth thanks to an emollient oil base and bio-hyaluronic acid. Dipotassium glycyrrhizate is said to prevent razor burn, while Skin Fit Powder (titanium dioxide and a pH conditioner) enables a closer shave.
