Sessions of York says it is using its knowledge of self-adhesive labels to “surpass the new recommended Braille standard”.
Sessions has raised the Braille dots on its label to 0.37mm - 0.4mm; the EU standard being 0.25mm for label prints.
By using transparent filmic labels, Sessions claims its Braille dots are more precise. The company prints mainly for medical packaging, ensuring accuracy and reduced medication errors. If required, Sessions of York offers on-site equipment demonstrations.
