Niche perfumer Ormonde Jayne launched Orris Noir, a dark spicy oriental fragrance based on the iris flower and described as a rich seductive aria of unmistakable individuality.

Orris Noir combines notes of davana, pink pepper, cardamom, iris, coriander seed, bergamot, sambac absolut, pimento berry, bay, cinnamon, incense, myrrh, patchouli, Chinese cedar, saffron and civet.

The fragrance is housed in a crystal bottle presented in a shagreen box lined with thick, black velvet.

LAUNCH: UK from July.

PRICE: £54 for 50ml.
