Kristina Schake has joined L'Oréal USA as Chief Communications Officer effective 8 July. Schake will represent L'Oréal USA in all of its corporate communications and will lead the company’s external communications strategy in the areas of public and media relations, industry and government relations, sustainability and crisis communications. She will also assume responsibility for the company’s corporate philanthropic programs.
Schake is currently a Special Assistant to President Obama and Communications Director to the First Lady Michelle Obama. Prior to joining the White House in December 2010, Schake was co-founder of Griffin|Schake, a US public affairs and strategic communications firm.
