Scarlett & Crimson travels to US
Premium UK teen make-up to hit US in 2011
UK company Coolabi has signed a deal in the US with Japonesque to expand its teenage beauty brand Scarlett & Crimson throughout North America. The line, created by Ruby Hammer and Millie Kendall, was launched last year in the UK. In the US it will be sold through drug stores, high street majors and specialist stores.
Japonesque has over 20 years’ experience with make-up brushes and beauty accessories in the US. Commenting on this new venture Japonesque president Karen McKay comments: “Being already long established in the beauty business this association provides us with the opportunity to extend our capabilities into the products business and simultaneously to expand the age profile of our customer base.”
The US launch is scheduled for spring 2011 and Coolabi and Japonesque say it will be the first teen make-up range on the market offering premium formulations at high street prices.
