Sales rally for Limited Brands in January

Buoyant January retailing has helped Limited Brands’ store sales increase by 6% for the four weeks ended 30th January.


Buoyant January retailing has helped Limited Brands’ store sales increase by 6% for the four weeks ended 30th January.

Net sales reached $622.6m, compared to figures for the previous year.

The store operator, which owns lingerie and beauty brand Victoria’s Secrets, Bath & Body Works, La Senza, C.O. Bigelow, White Candle Co and Henri Bendel also reported a 1% increase in Q4 store sales, reaching $3.063bn.

Comparative store sales for the 52 weeks ended 30th January, were down 4% on the previous year however, reaching $8.632bn.
