Luxury Italian jewellery brand Pomellato has launched a trio of fragrances inspired by its Nudo ring collection.
The collection, which made its debut at the recent TFWA Exhibition in Cannes, is being launched by licence holder ITF, which inked a multiyear licensing deal with the Milan based jewellery brand in 2011. Under the agreement, ITF is to create, produce and distribute fragrances under the Pomellato name. The brand also holds the fragrance and beauty licences for Blumarine, Blugirl, Dsquared2 and Trussardi, as well as distribution rights for Custo Barcelona in Italy, Germany and Austria.
The new Nudo collection features three diverse scents: Amber, which blends orange blossom and jasmine, Blue, which features iris and musk, and Rose, a 'romantic' scent which pays homage to the rose flower.
Each bottle features a jewelled cap that replicates the shape and colour of the Madeira quartz, London blue topaz and Rose de France amethyst, which each feature on the original Nudo rings. The names of the three scents are also engraved in a pink gold square at the centre of each flacon. Pomellato, based in Milan, has introduced the concept of “ready to wear” jewels and in 1995 created the successful brand Dodo dedicated to a younger consumer. Beyond its solid presence in Italy, Pomellato has been developing in Europe, America, the Middle and Far East.
