Natural body care brand Origins is encouraging customers to buy a bottle of its Ginger Essence this winter and help a very worthy cause while doing so.
This December, Origins will be donating £1 from the sale of every Origins Ginger Essence, Origins Ginger Days gift set and Intensified Fragrance Spray and donating it directly to Shelter, the housing and homelessness charity.
Origins is also providing each bottle of the Ginger Essence with a miniature knitted scarf to keep the bottle warm as part of its Ginger Knits 2008 initiative. The scarves will be available in a selection of Christmas colours designed especially for the festive season.
As part of the Ginger Knits campaign, Origins has also enlisted the help of seven London fashion designers, ranging from Julien MacDonald to Jenny Packham, who have each designed a bespoke scarf for the occasion. These scarves will be auctioned off in a silent bid for Shelter in December will all profits gong to help the homeless this Christmas.
