Organic winners lead the way at Beauty Challenger Awards 2011
Beyond Beauty Paris celebrates increased visitor numbers
There were a clutch of organic winners at Beyond Beauty Paris’ Beauty Challenger Awards which were held on 13 September at the Porte de Versailles exhibition centre in the south west of the city. The show itself was held there from the 12-14 of this month and attracted a range of delegates, buyers and retailers.
Organic French perfumery brand Fleurs de Bach scooped two awards – the Beauty Pharma Award and the prestigious Coup de Coeur Du Jury award – after it was said to have “charmed the jury”.
Other organic winners were hair care line Less is More, which walked away with the Beauty Blog Favourite Award and the Too Fruit organic skin care line for children aged 6-12 which was honoured with the Coup de Coeur de la press award for its “innovative and colourful approach”.
The Beauty Organic Award was won by Alorée while the Best Niche brand accolade went to bathroom products range Le Bain Collection and Corsican company Solyvia won the Best Emerging Brand Award for its selection of roll-on aromatherapy products.
David Bondi, president of show organiser ITEC France, said: “I have been very pleased with how the awards and the show in general have gone and we have had very positive feedback.
“There has been a 48% increase in visitor numbers on 2010’s show and I am very pleased to say that 35% of all visitors have been international.”
