O’Hare to succeed DiGeso at Estée Lauder

Effective 20 September, Michael O’Hare will take on the role of Executive Vice President, Global Human Resources

The Estée Lauder Companies has named Michael O’Hare as Executive Vice President, Global Human Resources. Effective 30 September, O’Hare will succeed Amy DiGeso, who is currently Executive Vice President, Global Human Resources. DiGeso is due to retire after almost 10 years of leading the company’s Global Human Resources function at Estée Lauder.

O’Hare will report jointly to William P. Lauder, Executive Chairman, and Fabrizio Freda, President and CEO of the company.

Previously, O’Hare served as Global Chief Human Resources Officer at Netherlands based Heineken N.V. Prior to this, he spent 13 years at PepsiCo, where he held a variety of senior HR roles.

“Michael is a highly seasoned HR executive with broad global experience and an exceptional track record in building teams in new and emerging markets,” said Freda. “His deep understanding of organizational alignment will be integral to the ongoing implementation of our corporate strategy, which is a key to our future success.”
