Nocibé to accelerate expansion plans

French perfumery group Nocibé has said it will open 20 new outlets in France this year after a slowdown last year when only ten shops were opened.


French perfumery group Nocibé has said it will open 20 new outlets in France this year after a slowdown last year when only ten shops were opened.

Nocibé owns 347 shops in France and operates a further 93 franchises and 20 affiliates. The current strategy, according to Nocibé director general Xavier Dura, is to add about 100 new outlets over the next five years, improve profitability and acquire about 20% of the selective distributions market. Sales rose 2.7% in 2009 to €601m.
