Niche fragrance house Vilhelm Parfumerie has opened its debut store in Paris.
The New York-based perfume brand was previously only available via its e-commerce platform and luxury retailers.
The French boutique in Paris' 'Golden Triangle' is inspired by the "atmosphere of a contemporary jewellery shop" and will expand to include a 'VIP area' featuring a cocktail bar.
A second store in Moscow, Russia, is also expected to open.
"This is the first time that we can fully immerse ourselves in the timeless universe of Vilhelm Parfumerie. It’s a tribute to Art Deco, but with a contemporary twist," said founder Jan Vilhelm Ahlgren.
The store includes wall panels wrapped in yellow vegan leather – Vilhelm Parfumerie's signature colour – and 1920s-inspired display cabinets.
A chandelier has also been created for Vilhelm Parfumerie. Weighing nearly a ton, the light display is made of 756 salvaged perfume bottles.
