The CEW Achiever Awards are taking place on 1 November, so Caroline Neville takes a look through its history and reveals how it all began…

After reading up on the history behind the CEW Achiever Awards, it’s true to say this event signified a real turning point for us.

Introduced rather boldly in New York in 1975, it was the first event of its kind for CEW.

Our organisation was born in 1954 in New York, and for the next few decades it held holiday luncheons and helped members to exchange business cards, but there wasn’t
